An Exercise in Eco Printing

Use plant materials and paper to make beautiful mono-prints. You will produce leaf prints on Reeves paper by the end of this session The Class will happen via Zoom in 3 segments on Saturday Nov. 14.

• 1 PM: Meet on Zoom and get your water boiling while we prepare the pages and build the bundles! You can join the meeting with any device with a camera and a microphone that will open the link.

• 2 PM: We should all be ready to put our bundles into our boiling pots!

• 3 PM: We’ll jump back on to check our pot and turn the bundles. During this segment, I will pull out my bundles that I started earlier in the day so we can talk about the process of opening them

• 4 PM: We are back in session and this time you will open your bundles! Have your camera ready to share! We’ll all have a look and raise questions that you have about doing this again.

When you sign up I’ll email you the list of things you’ll need to do this at home. And there will be will photos of each stage so at the opening of our class meeting you’ll be prepared.

• A bit of blue or green dye

Both options assume you will gather plants, have a pot that will cover a 5 x7 bundle with water, & provide white vinegar & water yourself. See you soon!
